The Huaguo Mountain Rainbow Stairway is a popular hiking spot loved by many members of the public. With the constant flow of people and frequent activities, the more important it is to be well prepared for emergencies.

As a regular visitor, Penang State Assembly Speaker Datuk Seri Law Choo Kiang has generously sponsored an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), which has been installed at the Bukit Mertajam Zhen Shan Ge Lao Fo Temple at the foot of the mountain, adding an extra layer of protection to this familiar natural space.

State Assembly Members (ADUNs) YB Heng Lee Lee (Berapit) and Speaker share the same belief: installing an AED is not enough — people must know how to use it. Through first aid training, the device can truly save lives when every second counts.
